First games of the season

We had our first bagpipe and drum competition in NH this past weekend. Let's just call it a good learning experience as it didn't go as well as anyone would like. It was fun travelling as a family and with other band members. The highlight for the boys was the hotel hot tub/pool and complimentary breakfast (though it could not compare to this place).

These flags lining one wall of the technical college's gym provided a learning opportunity for my middle boys. They represent the countries of origin of the school's students, including 3 countries close to our hearts -- South Korea, India and Tanzania. We have relatives living in each country.
