Progress has slowed down considerably


It took a few days to get the first 40 hexagons
for my from-recycled-sweaters afghan done.
It's taken weeks to get the next 40 done.


I think it was well worth the wait though!
Just look how graphic they are arranged in rows.
This is probably half the size it will be.
Now that I have a pattern set out
I can make more sets of 10 for more rows.
Won't be worried so much about running out.


Each hexagon will get a row of dark gray yarn
which I will then use to attach them together.
I'll keep you posted when I get to that step.
Hope it isn't months from now....

I love the fact that this is made from recycled yarn. The colors really pop!
