A little more love

It didn't take me too long to do a little something with a copy of this postcard.

I placed it on some purple gingham then tucked it inside a red leather frame covered with shamrock-inspired trim and vintage buttons.

My Scottish cupid is posing with dh's drum major gear, including his feather bonnet.

You can see him leading the bagpipe band in the sidebar on the right. (DH, not the cupid.)

I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Even easier was my next project.

I wanted to keep it simple since the silver basket is so ornate.

More gingham, this time in pink, and some rose trim is all it needed.

A sweetheart of a pincushion.

I just love the silver rose.

Both of these pieces as well as Little Miss Muffet's Heart-shaped Tuffet should be up on Etsy tomorrow.
