I bought this little guy on eBay weeks ago. I was afraid he wouldn't arrive in time for Valentine's Day.
I'm in love. I've started projects with him already.

I love that the front of the postcard is dated -4-19-07.
Not 2007, but 1907.
Sent from Nettie to Glenn. She was appreciative of the "Kodak Pictures" of "cracks in the earth" and postcards he had sent to her.
He was rebuilding San Francisco after the big quake. And the postcard was dated one year and one day later.
I wonder if anything came from this friendship. Sounds like Nettie wanted it to be more.

Wow -- I can't imagine what kind of crafts you have planned for this little guy... take the time to post the pictures... so we can see!
And let us know what you want for valentine's day... the contest on my site.
Very cool! I look forward to seeing what you do with it. I so envy your 'craftiness'.
Julie! I came to you by way of Lidy's blog, Little French Gardenhouse. And I JUST finished writing a comment there about my Scottish grandparents courting back about the time this Valentine was sent!
Kismet, I tell ya. I love the little fatty playing the pipes.
What a great blog you have. :)
Becky
So cute! I need one of those.
