While my son was interviewing for a job at a local theme park,
I wandered around outside with my camera.
I remember these buildings back from when I worked there at 16.
I remember them even earlier than that.
Long before there were roller coasters and other thrill rides.
It was a magical storybook village with
Mother Goose and other nursery rhyme characters.
Some of them, like Cinderella's pumpkin ride have remained
but much has been replaced by corporate costumed characters.
It's a different, but more commercial kind of fun now.
It's lost a lot of its charm.
I wonder just how long these cottage facades will last?

changed the border in Photoshop Elements.)
