Custom earflap hats

An online friend ordered two hats
for family in their college colors.



Here's my admitted geek posing
with them for me this morning.
This is the large hat.



This is the smaller one.
I'm still having a really hard time
with gauge so it's lots of trial and error --
and felting a bit with hot water and the dryer.
