Now for my granny square afghan

This yarn I took from three sweater vests
plus even more from a darker blue sweater
are well on their way to a new life --
as a granny square (actually hexagon) afghan.

It was about time I started using the book of
"99 Granny Squares to Crochet"
my husband bought me for Christmas.

In two days, I've been able to finish a total of 20.
They go really fast but I hear it gets tedious
when sewing them all together.

When one of my boys saw this stack,
he picked one up and said
"Cool, look how these could fly
across the room like frisbees."
Maybe I should hide them
until I am ready to assemble the afghan.
