A lesson in design

Spent part of the day listing vintage get well cards in my Etsy shop. (Perfect since I'm still not feeling 100%.) Just looking them over is a lesson in humor, illustration, design, color, card construction, die cuts, embossing and, my favorite, pop-up elements.

They are some of the cards my dad received when he had mumps or measles or something back in the 1940s. I've saved many more. Here are some of the highlights of the ones I listed.
