I'm baaaack

Last weekend (was it really a week ago?),
we traveled to Norwalk, CT for The Round Hill Highland Games.
It's setting, Cranbury Park, is the prettiest we go to.

Besides the woods with biking and hiking trails
and a frisbee golf course, there is an old stone mansion
that reminds me of the homes we saw in Scotland.

It is surrounded by a quaint little garden,
complete with this young lady.

What a place to listen to the bagpipes.

And what a place for the soloists to compete.

Everything was so lush and obviously planted
with an eye to variety of texture and color.

Even the trees in the background have so much variety.

And look at color of these. Wow!
