Ever walk by something that has been in the same spot in your house forever and suddenly think of some new use for it.
We've had this printer's tray hanging empty in our hallway for quite awhile. Before that it was in storage and before that it hung on our kitchen wall holding little knick knacks.
It is now going to lay flat in my studio holding buttons, hair pins, beads and jingle bells, among other tidbits. My sister just gave me her daughters' collection of beading supplies, so I'm off to add those to the different compartments.
I feel so organized now.

By the way, I LOVE your idea about the printer's drawer! I have one in my "studio" (can I call it that?) and I have it hanging on the wall with thread in it but I love your idea ~ the thread always looks like it wants to fall out anyway. The printer's drawer is such a great idea...I wish I wouldn't have sold all mine now! (now I can really tell my husband I REALLY do need all the stuff I keep,see??)
I have so enjoyed your blog, especially all the young boys pictures. I have only girls...boys are a whole other kind of little person.:)
