Fancy silver pincushions

   Remember these beautiful silverplate pieces from a few weeks ago? I finally got to them today.

I love this fabric but never knew what I'd use it for. It has a silky-satin finish but is more like the weight of upholstery fabric.

The colors work well with the aged-patina of the base pieces combined with the creamy whites of the trims and buttons.

They still need something. I'm going to see if I have enough white seed beads or small mother-of-pearl buttons to go around the perimeter of each. After that, I'll list them on Etsy.
