Playing in the rain

Scotia-Glenville Pipe Band had its annual concert in Freedom Park, Scotia, NY on Wednesday evening.

When the rain started and the "brollies" popped up, it felt like we were in Scotland already.

But while it was pretty heavy for awhile, the rain stopped quickly and a rainbow appeared.

Made for some really great photo ops though!

Featured were the SBPG Grade 5 and Grade 3 bands as well as guest soloists and the Braemar dancers.

Audience watching was fun too!

The band's CD is now available online through digstation. You can give the tracks a listen there but if you order them digitally I don't know how much of the proceeds do to the band. You can, however, order the actual CD from us for $15 with all proceeds funding the trip to the World's in Scotland in August.
