Like my yarn ball holder?

No need for a fancy one when a 50¢ garage sale find will do.

 I'd had my heart set on making myself a summery shawl

from this cotton turquoise yarn I had recycled from a sweater.

It just wasn't meant to be as I hated everything I tried.

Turns out, it makes better sun hats for wee ones anyway.

I was able to finish two of these during our weekend away.

This one is a 6-month size and the other one is 2-year size.

Restocking the shop!

Now that the holidays are over, decorations are put away,

I'm well on my way with year-end and income tax paperwork,

and I have a new camera to photograph with,

I am ready to list new items in my Etsy shop once again.

Purple and turquoise warmth

I've got quite the color scheme going here, eh?

Not done on purpose but I have been drawn

to purple and turquoise lately when I crochet.

Button-up chevron cowl , made with a pattern from Unravel Me
using vintage acrylic-mohair yarn in lilac and lavender colors
and closed up with dark purple-blue plastic buttons.
Super soft and light but also very warm around your neck.
Measures 8" X 24" when opened up. $25 including shipping.

Child-sized rolled brim hat made with bulky yarns.

The turquoise is Homespun in Seafoam by Lion Brand Yarn.

The purple is wool yarn taken from a sweater.

It is not as soft as the Homespun but the combination

makes for a sharp-looking hat that stands up on its own.

Circumference is approx. 20" so it will fit an older child.

(It's tight on me and fits my 9-year old perfectly.)

Vintage linen goodness with handmade details

I've had a very success fall garage sale season,

including a huge box of handmade linens.

Like my new "model?"

She is a bisque penny doll and so adorable.

Many pieces of waffle weave and damask tea towels in all white.

A few are embroidered and monogrammed like this one.

A lot of doilies with a variety of needlework techniques.

Not in perfect condition but still very usable.

Just fell in love with these sweet tatted pansies.
Other pieces have just as gorgeous trim.
