Even though it isn't cooling down at all,
I can tell we are heading into fall.
School is about to start and allergies have kicked in.
Having admired felted acorns in the past
I knew it was time to make some of my own
when the real ones started to drop.
It was really easy to do once
I figured out the easiest way how --
a combination of needle and wet felting.
Having used up all the dark brown wool roving
I bought at last spring's fiber fair,
I'm moving on to colored acorns next.
