Thrown-away memories saved

When I saw the sign out in front of a local B&B I just had to stop.

The bright orange sign said "garage sale."

I just knew they'd have some real goodies.

I didn't know how inexpensive they would be.

I first stopped at the box marked "everything 5¢."

Inside were these four wedding photographs.

I just had to save them.

Don't you agree?

Everything else I bought cost less than a dollar.
Mostly paper ephemera and books I'll share with you later.

  2. SCORE!

Isn't it sad that people's wedding photographs are sold for .05 at a garage sale? Unless they ended up hating eachother and getting divorced and had no kids.

  5. Wow, totally cool pictures! Incrediable! I love old pictures like that, we have them all over our house. Hope your having a great wordeless wednesday :) Sorry I have not been blogging lately! I have been taping shows. What was I thinking?? Hah! Maybe it is a good thing I wasn't thinking! If you get a minute, check it out. I'd love to hear what you think. I am inviting all my blog friends over for feedback. http://www.dishingwithdebbie.com/on-the-show-temp.php Your stories are great and my whole idea behind this show is for other moms to share real stories like you do. Sponsors are donating neat prizes like chocolate baskets and mini-chef aprons and way cool cookery stuff. Anyway, I'd love to hear from you.
